Cristine wears a revealing gown to 'Patient X' premiere

The recent “Patient X” premiere almost turned into an ‘x-rated’ affair when the film’s leading lady Cristine Reyes appeared in a sexy gown that barely covered her breasts.

The gown, which had big slits on the side, was said to have been recommended to Cristine by stylist Liz Uy.In contrast, Cristine’s leading man, Richard Gutierrez, came to the event well-clad in a suit.He and Cristine walked the red carpet with hands clasped.

The premiere night held on Oct. 25 at cinema 4 of SM Manila was supported by Richard's dad Eddie Gutierrez, mom Annabelle Rama, sister Ruffa Gutierrez, and brothers Raymond, Elvis, and Rocky Gutierrez.Also present were “Patient X” co-stars, namely, beauty queen Miriam Quiambao, Dion Ignacio, Nanding Josef. Ditto with Ehra and Michelle Madrigal, Bubbles Paraiso, and German Moreno.

Although she looked glamorous at the premiere, Cristine’s role in “Patient X” is hardly so. As a suspected aswang in the movie, she wore prosthetic make-up that made her look scary.

In a taped interview shown as a visual presentation during the dinner at Aristocrat restaurant also in SM Manila a few hours before the screening, Cristine said she was impressed with director Yam Laranas' style."He's so cool and direct to the point. Astig siya as a director," said she.

Cristine also had no apprehensions wearing prosthetics. "One hour ang paglagay ng make-up at nung una, medyo pabago-bago [pa ang ginagamit na make-up]. But after a while, maayos na, mabilis na."

On her leading man Richard Gutierrez: "Sobra siyang maalalay, sobrang gaan katrabaho. Very cool siya."Richard said his role in the movie is quite challenging.

"I have to learn the nuances of the doctor. Kailangan kong matutunan kung paano humawak ng equipment ng doktor at kung paano gamitin iyon," he said. He added that doing horror films takes so much out of a person.

"A horror film allows you to do a no-holds barred exploration of your creativity."
